Finding the right commercial cleaning company to fit your needs might seem overwhelming at first, especially if you begin with a quick internet query.
Filter through the digital chatter to find what is most important to you and how to move forward in making a selection. While it might seem like everyone has their hand out vying for your business, make no mistake that you’re the one in the driver’s seat making the decisions that are best for you and your company.
Ideally, those decisions should be made based upon thoughtful research. In today’s online world, it shouldn’t be an arduous quest to determine reputable companies that offer the services you need. There are many different facets to the professional cleaning business that can help a company maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Starting Your Search
Through online reviews, social media posts and word of mouth referrals in the online metaverse, you can easily determine the winners and losers of the commercial cleaning world.
Brands should be aware of their online presence when it comes to reviews, recommendations and social media comments. Keep this at the forefront of your mind when combing through the reviews. Pay attention to the positive and negative reviews to give yourself a sense of the company’s practices. Look for common threads. One negative response might not mean much from a customer who might demand the impossible, but repeated instances of mismanagement should be a red flag.
Ignore personal attacks and misinformation. In case you haven’t heard, not everything found on the internet can be trusted. What you do want to pay attention to is how the companies you research interact with their reviews and online commenters. Do they handle questions and concerns in a professional and courteous manner? Are their responses timely? Do they respond to concerns and resolve customer issues with transparency?
Another option for researching a potential company is learning from direct referrals from their other clients. Ask those in your professional circle who they use for commercial cleaning and their experience with the companies. Social media platforms also allow you to post queries to your followers for recommendations and have specific networking groups to follow for more advice. Opinions are never in short supply on the internet!
Now that you have completed your online research and developed a short list, it’s time to start the interview process.
