Office holiday parties are a great way for employees to bond and celebrate the holiday season together. However, they can also leave behind a mess that can be challenging to clean up.
Dropped, crusty pieces of food left behind, shredded decorations stuck to walls and inadvertent spills of drinks on office carpets are just a few of the pitfalls of the office party aftermath. But more goes into the party than just the cleanup. That’s where Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services comes in. As a commercial cleaning company, they can help develop a plan for before, during and after holiday parties that ensures a stress-free and enjoyable experience for everyone.
Pre-Party Preparation
Before the tinsel, Christmas trees and cardboard candy cane cutouts are hung with care, commercial cleaning crews can meet with your office manager or party planner to develop a plan for cleaning and maintenance before the guests arrive.
Typical party prep can include deep carpet cleaning, disinfecting high-touch points like door handles and light switches, and restocking supplies like toilet paper and soap. By taking care of these tasks ahead of time, your office crew and party guests will feel comfortable and safe during your celebrations.
Remember, office parties can be a time where spouses and children can be invited into the office environment, and you want it to look its best.
Party Time Cleaning
During the party, you probably won’t want to have a full cleaning crew mingling among your guests. But at the same time, accidents can happen and having them in the background to provide on-site cleaning services can help keep the party running smoothly.
Finding balance during an office event is the key to success. Leaving small services like emptying trash cans, restocking supplies and wiping down surfaces to keep them clean and sanitary to a cleaning crew can make your party a stress-free shindig. They can also provide additional services like spot cleaning spills and stains before they become permanent reminders of your co-worker’s clumsiness. With help from your cleaning crew, employees can focus on having a good time without worrying about the mess.
Post Party Pickup
After the party, crews can take care of the cleanup process, so employees can return to a clean and organized workspace. This could include tasks like taking out the trash, vacuuming and mopping floors and wiping down surfaces.
They can also provide additional services like deep cleaning carpets and upholstery, disinfecting surfaces and restocking supplies. By leaving the cleanup to the professionals, employees can avoid the stress and hassle of cleaning up after a big party and the office manager can have the peace of mind that the cleaning was done correctly.
Holiday parties are an important part of the office culture, but they can also leave behind a big mess. With the help of a commercial cleaning company like Office Pride, companies can save time, reduce stress on their own employees and create a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.
