For the benefit of staff and customers alike, it is important to keep your facility clean and well maintained. Routine daily and weekly cleanings are a must but giving your office space or facility a deep clean is just as important. Studies show when an office is clean, there are corresponding increases in productivity and concentration and reductions in absenteeism and stress. With customers, you want to put your best foot forward. Don’t underestimate the power of that first impression when customers walk through your front door.
So, when is a good time to tackle those much bigger projects like deep cleaning? Since summer is vacation season for many families, it is likely that both employees and customers will be taking some time off to travel. This, along with the fact that summer is halfway through the year, makes it the perfect time to schedule those deep cleaning projects, and Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services can help.
It’s Halftime
With summer being halfway through the calendar year, it is a natural time to schedule these types of cleanings. The professionals at Office Pride recommend scheduling at least two deep cleanings a year.
During commercial “deep-cleans”, our staff will clean trash cans and lids, glass doors, mirrors and interior windows; dust desks, cabinets, windowsills, furniture, baseboards, overhead vents and mini blinds. We disinfect high-touch areas such as keyboards, mice, phones, light switches and doorknobs.
Our services also include a deep-clean of carpet and tile. Taking care of your flooring on a regular basis can help extend the life of your floors and keep them looking new for a longer period of time. We suggest deep-cleaning tile and carpet twice per year and deep-cleaning hardwoods once per year. Doing a deep clean in the summer and then again around the holidays is a great way to maintain your office.
Customer Satisfaction
As business owners, we want to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages customers to keep coming back. At Office Pride, our goal is to help you shine in the eyes of your clients. By keeping your offices and facilities clean, you show your customers that you value their business and go the extra mile to provide them with the best experience possible.
Since many customers are traveling during the summer months, you will likely have less foot traffic in your office. By completing deep cleaning projects during vacation season, you minimize inconveniences for your customers. This is yet another reason that scheduling deep cleanings in the summer is ideal for everyone.
Minimize Disruptions for Employees
Summer is a time when you naturally have fewer employees in the office due to increased travel and family vacations, making it a perfect time to schedule a deep cleaning. This will minimize interruptions of your daily and weekly workflow processes. First, make a list of the cleaning projects that you need completed and identify those that might impact the most workers. Next, you can compare this list against vacation schedules of your employees so that you can finish the larger projects during the weeks that the highest number of employees will be out of the office. For example, many offices are rather quiet around the Fourth of July. Then, contact your closest Office Pride location to schedule your cleaning. Since summer is a great time for these types of cleanings, many businesses will have the same plan in mind. Make sure to plan ahead so you are able to schedule your preferred time.
