You did your spring cleaning and paid your taxes. Summer is around the corner, with the promise of sunny skies and vacations. Except your workplace doesn’t take a summer vacation, and your office will need some TLC to keep employees and clients smiling.
Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services can give you a hand (or several) while you enjoy the peak vacation season. Our trained and uniformed cleaners work flexible shifts to accommodate your business’s schedule, including nights and weekends. What does your office or facility need to stay summertime fresh?
Keeping your workplace cool during the summer months places an extra strain on air conditioners. Filters and vents collect dust and need special cleaning to keep the AC running efficiently during the longer, warmer days.
Summer’s heat and humidity also bring the risk of mildew in damp areas. Bathrooms need more frequent attention to prevent mildew from building up around toilets and sinks.
Remember that what is outside is likely to come inside during the warmer months. Think: shoes. Summer brings a host of seasonal allergies, from grass pollen to fungal spores to mold to ragweed. All those nasty allergens cling to shoes and find their way onto carpets and other flooring. Thorough vacuuming and mopping will keep them from pestering those who are spending summer days at work.
Remind employees leaving the office for vacation time should be reminded to dispose of perishable items in kitchens or breakroom refrigerators. Wipe down the fridge and make sure to remove garbage before the perishables — well, perish — and cause unpleasant odors. Removing clutter from cabinets and desks will also help the cleaning staff give these spaces an extra dusting.
