Meet the Owner: Moises Zapata
Office Pride of Visalia-Hanford
Moises Zapata is the owner of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Visalia-Hanford, an independently owned and operated commercial cleaning franchise.
Zapata’s broad experience includes general construction, cable installation, mortgage loans, telemarketing, logistics, sales and retail, with over 16 years in management.
“Over the years I’ve had a few different types of jobs,” he says. “They have taught me different skills and given me the confidence to try different things. I have always wanted to have my own business. I came across Office Pride, and when I learned more about them, I was impressed with their core values, the company’s support team and the potential for growth.”
Zapata’s wife, Angie, will help him operate the business in Tulare and Kings County, California.
Office Pride provides a full range of janitorial services to offices, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, medical facilities, schools, government buildings, churches, banks and other commercial properties. Services include sweeping and vacuuming, wet and dry mopping, secure trash removal, restroom sanitization, disinfection, dusting, blinds cleaning, restroom replenishment, glass cleaning and the cleaning of walls, ceilings and baseboards and more.
Zapata, like many Office Pride franchisees, was drawn to Office Pride because of the company’s values.
“As I read Office Pride’s core values more and more, I realized that I have been doing these for years now,” he says. “I now look forward to doing it for my own business.”
Using his management experience, Zapata wants to help his employees excel in their work and customer service.
“I want to help people grow to their full potential,” he says. “I want to build a team atmosphere and have an open line of communication with my employees. At the same time, I want us to remember to have fun and enjoy what we do in the community.”
