The year is about to end, and your business is ready to wrap up for the holidays and start the year fresh. What a perfect time to get the office deep-cleaned by a professional.
Contact an Office Pride location near you about commercial cleaning services for your facility. The holiday season is a great time to have your offices, school or facility cleaned. There will likely be days with a lower-than-usual traffic level, as employees, customers, guests and students are on different holiday schedules. This is an ideal time to complete annual and semi-annual cleaning tasks.
What is cleaned during a deep commercial clean?
A “deep-clean” service involves the one-time cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces in restrooms, kitchens, high-touch areas like doorknobs, light switches, phones, keyboards and mice. Cleaners also clean trash cans and lids, glass doors, mirrors and interior windows; dust desks, cabinets, counters, windowsills, furniture, baseboards, overhead vents and mini blinds. The type of high-touch areas might vary, depending on the nature of your particular business.
Kitchen stoves, floor drains and vent hoods also can be cleaned at this time.
For flooring, it’s great to have carpets and tile deep-cleaned twice per year and to have hardwoods deep-cleaned once per year. Tile grout can be cleaned, carpet stains can be lifted, and a deep dirt extraction process on hardwoods can help make them look new. The removal of dirt and debris from engineered wood, laminate flooring and linoleum also can help to keep them shiny and clean for years to come.

Should My Office Use Traditional Deep-Cleaning Methods or State-of-the-Art Deep-Cleaning?
Office Pride offers both traditional methods, like using color-coded cleaning rags to minimize cross-contamination, and state-of-the-art electrostatic sprayers to apply EPA-approved disinfectants to surfaces. Electrostatic disinfection services are ideally suited for common areas, personal spaces and hard-to-reach corners and crevices. We can help keep your workplace sanitized and disinfected by reducing the germs that cause COVID-19, flu and other respiratory illnesses.
What Can Our Office Do To Be Prepared for a Deep-Cleaning?
There are two major ways your team can help prepare the office for a professional deep-clean:
Declutter
Have your staff remove items that should either go home for the holidays or maybe not stay at the office at all. Consider plants, stuffed animals, gadgets and toys that take up space and make it hard for commercial cleaners to thoroughly do their jobs.
Organize
A tidy space is easy to clean. Place loose papers in bins or filing cabinets, put coffee and water cups away, and put office supplies in a drawer or designated place.
