Runny noses, dirty hands, uncovered sneezes and coughs, food crumbs and skinned knees – such is the life inside a daycare. These instances also underscore the need for routine cleaning. Keeping a list of daycare cleaning tips can help ensure cleanliness is top-of-mind for your facility.
While children can find joy in getting dirty, they are also more prone to illness, and it makes regular cleaning of a daycare center an essential service that can help minimize the germs they take home and protect your reputation.
Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services offers customizable cleaning services that can be tailored to meet the specific requirements of daycares and education centers. Whether you need daily, weekly or monthly cleaning services, Office Pride can create a customized cleaning plan that fits your schedule and budget. We also offer a range of specialized cleaning services, such as carpet cleaning, janitorial services, window washing and floor care.
Disinfecting and Sanitizing
Let’s face it, accidents happen – whether it’s through spills during snack time or a little one didn’t make it to the restroom in time. Those instances, if not cleaned properly, can impact a childcare business.
Sanitizing is a great start for surface cleaning, typically with sanitizing spray, to reduce the number of germs on common surfaces. Use this on the surfaces that might come into contact with a child’s mouth, like with learning materials and toys.
But in many instances, a more thorough cleaning is needed.
While your daycare staff is more than capable of handling the day-to-day spills, your center must be disinfected regularly to kill the germs you do not see. Routine disinfection, which you would probably want done during nonbusiness hours, is the key to keeping kids healthy and germ free – and it’s different than sanitizing.
That difference is measured by health and safety agencies as to how effective the chemicals used are in killing bacteria. Ultimately, disinfectant is more effective at killing bacteria and viruses on surfaces.
Office Pride offers several types of cleaning and disinfection services that daycares can use, including high-touch area disinfection, outbreak cleaning for pesky flu and cold season, along with electrostatic spraying for larger play areas.
These types of processes can be used to clean play areas, bathrooms, diaper changing areas, common areas, outdoor play equipment, kitchens, nap areas and learning devices.
Floor Cleaning
Little feet running along any floor day in, day out can wear down flooring materials, causing dirt and grime to become lodged in cracks and crevices.
To help combat this, Office Pride offers comprehensive floor care cleaning solutions that include a variety of surfaces, which include tile, laminate, linoleum, wood and carpet.
Our cleaning teams can collaborate with you to identify the best schedule for maintaining your floors. Using advanced cleaning methods, we can effectively remove dirt and allergens embedded deep within the flooring materials.
Custom Plans
When you partner with Office Pride, you’re not just hiring a cleaning service – you’re entering into a relationship built on professionalism and reliability. We can work with you to create a custom cleaning plan that fits your needs and those of your students.
