Meet the Owner: Lisa Pearl

Office Pride of Clarksville-Riverside

Lisa Pearl

Lisa Pearl started her first cleaning business part-time to bring a little extra income into her family. Now she is the franchise owner of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Clarksville-Riverside, an independently owned and operated franchise.

Office Pride of Clarksville-Riverside provides a full range of routine janitorial and commercial cleaning services to banks, religious facilities, industrial office spaces and other commercial facilities throughout Clarksville and surrounding areas. The franchise offers specialty services such as stripping and waxing of VCT tile, window cleaning up to three stories, pressure washing, carpet cleaning and COVID-19 outbreak cleaning and disinfecting and electrostatic disinfection treatment, which is effective in disinfecting common areas, personal spaces and hard-to-reach corners and crevices. Electrostatic sprayers are vital in the fight against the spread of germs that cause COVID-19, flu and other respiratory illnesses.

Pearl and her husband, Greg, were raising six children when she began taking a ministry class at Berean College and cleaning a few small offices at night. She opened her first business, Liberty Cleaning, in 2010 just south of Clarksville in Dickson, Tennessee. Her husband started helping her on weekends and then joined her full-time in 2014. Several of their children got their first jobs in high school working for their mom.

When Pearl decided it was time to take her business to the next level, she looked into options and was drawn to Office Pride, a national, faith-based franchise. “We wanted to put systems into place to allow us to manage the growth we were anticipating,” she says. “Also, our goals and morals were aligned with Office Pride’s. Like Office Pride, ‘honoring God’ is at the top of our daily to-do list.”

At Office Pride of Clarksville-Riverside, Lisa Pearl focuses on sales and customer relations, while Greg Pearl is director of operations. “We are a dynamic duo,” Lisa Pearl says.

“Our goal is to provide the most professional, honest and reliable service in our area,” she says. “Our philosophy is to go the extra mile and to be sure all customers are fully satisfied.”

The Pearls, longtime residents of Clarksville, also are active in the ministry at Riverside Church. They have two grandchildren.
