Meet the Owner: Todd Sanders
Office Pride of Louisville-Shelbyville
Todd Sanders is the owner of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Louisville-Shelbyville.
Office Pride of Louisville-Shelbyville provides a full range of routine janitorial and commercial cleaning services to medical offices, churches, financial institutions, schools, government, commercial offices and properties in eastern Louisville, with a focus on manufacturing and distribution facilities. The franchise’s service area includes Jefferson, Oldham and Shelby Counties in Kentucky and Clark and Floyd Counties in southern Indiana.
Additionally, the business offers specialty services including floor cleaning, industrial cleaning and electrostatic disinfection treatment. Electrostatic sprayers disinfect common areas, personal spaces and hard-to-reach corners and crevices and are vital to reduce the risk of COVID-19, flu and other respiratory illnesses.
“COVID-19 has brought the need for safe, clean, sanitized spaces to the forefront,” Sanders says. “Owning and leading a commercial cleaning service is a huge way to make a difference in others’ lives and give them confidence in their environment and work spaces.”
Sanders worked for 35 years in the transportation and third-party logistics industries, the last 15 years in director and vice president roles. He is a graduate of Winthrop University.
“Having leadership responsibilities and roles has taught me to appreciate that we all come from different cultural backgrounds and life experiences and to be open to learning from others,” he says. “Integrity and ethics are my cornerstones in dealing with a diverse team and customers. I’ve learned and practiced transparency and high moral standards throughout my lifetime.”
He adds, “When you build your professional and personal foundations on principle, truths, honesty, integrity and fairness from biblical standards, you have a lot to offer your community. These guiding principles will continue to direct my success through this new chapter of my life.”
Sanders is a member of the St. Matthews Chamber of Commerce and Shelby County Chamber of Commerce.
A native of South Carolina, Sanders and his wife of 32 years, Theda, have two adult children. He is a member of Southeast Christian Church. “We love the outdoors and sports,” he says. “Faith and family are very important to me.”
