Office Pride of Lexington-Georgetown
Matt Mays is the owner of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Lexington-Georgetown. A multi-unit owner with Office Pride, Mays also owns locations in Elizabethtown and Louisville.
Office Pride of Lexington-Georgetown provides a full range of routine janitorial services to offices, warehouses, medical facilities, schools, churches, banks and other commercial properties in Lexington, Georgetown and Frankfort, and throughout Fayette, Scott, Bourbon, Clark, Madison, Jessamine and Woodford counties. The business has a strong interest in the equine industry, which is broadly represented in Kentucky.
The franchise, which has an office in Lexington, offers specialty services such as carpet cleaning, floor stripping and waxing, window cleaning, post-construction cleanup and electrostatic disinfection services. Electrostatic sprayers disinfect common areas, personal spaces and hard-to-reach corners and crevices and are vital to reduce the risk of COVID-19, flu and other respiratory illnesses.
Mays bought Office Pride of Louisville-Jeffersontown in 2018 and opened Office Pride of Elizabethtown-Radcliffe in 2020. He says he fell in love with the values, team and willingness to serve others at Office Pride, a faith-based franchise. “Integrating my faith into my work brings so much more purpose and fulfillment, especially when it comes to ministering to others,” he says.
Mays was recognized by the International Franchise Association as one of the association’s Franchisees of the Year at the 2022 convention.
He holds a degree in accounting and began his career in accounting and financial modeling. He is a member of Building Owners and Managers Association International, the International Facility Management Association, the Chamber Jeffersontown, OneSouthern Chamber of Commerce and the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce.
An avid runner, Mays enjoys exploring local parks with his wife, Kelsea, their daughter and two labs, Brody and Basil.
