Meet the Owner: Reid Christopherson
Office Pride of Colorado Springs-Downtown
Reid Christopherson is the owner of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Colorado Springs-Downtown.
Office Pride of Colorado Springs-Downtown provides a full range of routine janitorial services to offices, medical facilities, schools and preschools, churches, banks, auto dealerships, engineering/construction companies and other commercial properties in the downtown area.
The franchise, which has an office at 1502 N. Hancock Ave., also offers specialty services such as carpet cleaning, floor stripping and waxing and electrostatic disinfection services. Electrostatic sprayers disinfect common areas, personal spaces and hard-to-reach corners and crevices and are vital to reduce the risk of COVID-19, flu and other respiratory illnesses.
“Our highly trained professional staff is bonded and insured and can handle the unique cleaning needs of any business with excellence, courtesy and consistency,” Christopherson says.
When Christopherson purchased Office Pride of Colorado Springs-Downtown, he brought more than 30 years of business experience. Having previously owned and operated medical and therapy practices, he led the successful startup of several businesses. He served as managing partner of two successful management consulting firms, worked with a Fortune 500 corporation and served in leadership roles with an industry-leading manufacturing company. Additionally, he was a business professor at a university, having taught strategy, management, organizational behavior and human resources.
“I was attracted to the growth potential of the business as well as the opportunity to own and operate a business that has survived and thrived in any economic environment,” he says. “Ultimately, I was sold on Office Pride because the mission is to ‘Honor God by positively impacting people and workplaces,’ and I am a man of faith who strives to honor God in all that I do, including how I operate my business.”
Christopherson is a member of the Colorado Springs Business Alliance and Business Network International. In addition to his business activities, he sits on a nonprofit board and is a community volunteer and active member of his church.
He has four adult children and one grandchild and enjoys spending time with them and his wife of more than 29 years, April. He also enjoys skiing, hockey, hiking, racquetball and tackling do-it-yourself projects.
