Meet the Owner: Julie Hoover
Office Pride of Indianapolis-Greenfield
Julie Hoover is the owner of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Indianapolis-Greenfield.
Hoover, who owns the cleaning franchise with her husband, Tom, spent 25 years in industrial automation sales, servicing all facets of manufacturing.
“With my background in manufacturing, I understand the importance of around-the-clock service to meet customers’ needs,” Hoover says. “My sales experience also helps me to quickly understand what is important to a customer and to consistently hit their targets.”
Office Pride of Indianapolis-Greenfield provides a full range of high-quality routine janitorial and commercial cleaning services to commercial facilities in Hancock County, including Greenfield, Mount Comfort, McCordsville, New Palestine and Fortville, as well as Marion County, including Cumberland, Lawrence, Warren Park and Castleton.
The franchise offers specialty services such as floor care, carpet cleaning, window cleaning and touchless sanitizing for offices, warehouses, medical facilities, schools, churches, banks and other commercial properties.
Hoover served on the board of directors for PMMI, a packaging and processing technologies trade association, and on the steering committee for a newly formed Women in STEM organization. She holds an industrial engineering degree from Georgia Tech.
Hoover also served as a leader in a mentorship program for women who recently graduated college and have started their sales career. She is an active member of the Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce serving as a Chamber Ambassador.
With four children between them, the Hoovers understand how important it is to build a flexible, positive working environment – something that Julie Hoover found challenging in her corporate career schedule.
“We want to cultivate a positive culture and instill values in a group of employees,” she says. “With a growing family, flexibility is more important than ever to allow for more quality time with those we love. Our goals are to create a team environment of essential employees where each member strives for customer service excellence by consistently providing clean, safe workplace environments for our community.”
