Meet the Owner: Kevin G. Scott
Office Pride of Tulsa-Broken Arrow
As a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy, Kevin G. Scott employs his experience in the military and the corporate world to build his Tulsa-area franchise business, Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Tulsa-Broken Arrow.
Office Pride of Tulsa-Broken Arrow serves the Tulsa metro area, which includes all of Tulsa, Broken Arrow, Jenks, Bixby, Owasso, Coweta and Sand Springs. The business provides a full range of routine janitorial services to offices, medical facilities, schools, churches, banks and more throughout the region. Scott’s goal for his franchise is to be the best commercial cleaning company in the area.
Scott served on the USS Pensacola LSD-38 for several years before entering the corporate world for 20 years. He worked for a large telecommunications company in customer service, provisioning and finance. Now he’s using his leadership experience as a franchise owner and operator for Office Pride. “My experience has taught me that I am a natural leader and I get great satisfaction from helping people achieve their goals, not only in business but in their personal lives, as well,” he says.
Scott and his family are heavily involved in their community. He serves on the elder board of Northside Christian Church in Broken Arrow and is a member of the Rotary Club of Broken Arrow and the Broken Arrow Chamber of Commerce. He leads a community group out of his home. He is committed to charity and missionary services. His family supports a school in Honduras that gives Christian aid to children in need. He hopes his dedication to service is reflected in his business.
“My philosophy is simple: If you treat people as you would have them treat you, and if you clean their facility like you would clean your own facility, then everything else will take care of itself. With a ‘Love God, Love Others’ approach to every situation, we will be successful in every circumstance,” he says.
He and his wife, Cathy, have two daughters in college.
