Meet the Owner: Paul and Brenda Davis

Office Pride of York-Stewartstown

Paul and Brenda Davis

Paul and Brenda Davis are the owners of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of York-Stewartstown, an independently-owned and operated franchise.

Following high school, Paul Davis joined the U.S. Air Force and served as a firefighter for five years. After his honorable discharge, he attended college in Lakeland, Fla., while working as a janitor at night.

Paul Davis earned his bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Phoenix and has worked in the field of network security for over 20 years. “During my college days, I dreamed of starting a janitorial business but never really pursued it,” he says. “My work in the computer field helps give us the means to pursue our dreams of business ownership. Office Pride is the fruition of those dreams.”

Brenda Davis is a homemaker and has been an American Sign Language interpreter for over 20 years. She is highly skilled at building relationships. Along with managing her family’s household, she oversees all operational aspects of Office Pride of York-Stewartstown. “Our focus is to grow a company with a strong foundation – not in terms of size, but in terms of quality – and in doing so, stay true to our core values,” she says. “Office Pride’s mission statement, ‘to honor God by positively impacting people and workplaces,’ really resonates with us.”

Office Pride of York-Stewartstown serves businesses throughout the York-Pa. and Baltimore-Md. metro areas, including York, Adams and Lancaster counties in Pa., and Baltimore, Carroll and Harford counties in Md. The business offers routine janitorial services and commercial cleaning services, floor care and carpet cleaning, disinfection and sanitization services, high-touch cleaning and deep cleans, and other special services upon request.

Paul and Brenda Davis believe that opening an Office Pride franchise gives them the perfect opportunity to combine their faith life with their personal business goals. They appreciate Office Pride’s consistent, shared set of core values and strive to grow a business that offers amazing customer service and exceptional work quality. Their business philosophy is primarily one of servant leadership. “Our goal is to meet people’s needs, not just to pitch products,” Paul Davis says.

The couple loves to serve and is actively involved in their community. They are house church facilitators for the Grace Fellowship Church of Shrewsbury, members of the York Chamber Economic Alliance and supporters of the Summit Grove Camp and Conference Center in New Freedom, PA. Paul Davis is also an active member of Christian Business Men’s Connection (CBMC).
