Daniel Carpenter

Daniel and Mary Carpenter are the owners of Office Pride Commercial Cleaning Services of Roanoke-Daleville, an independently owned and operated commercial cleaning franchise that serves businesses throughout the Roanoke-Daleville area, including the counties of Roanoke, Botetourt, Bedford, Amherst and Campbell.

Daniel Carpenter received his bachelor’s degree in biblical studies from Prairie Bible College and his master’s degree in intercultural studies from Covenant Theological Seminary. Over three decades, Daniel Carpenter owned and managed multiple companies, served on the boards of nonprofit organizations, coached soccer and served as a minister in more than 20 countries.

Mary Carpenter received a bachelor’s degree in social ecology from the University of California, Irvine. She previously was named businesswoman of the year in Montana and served as the CEO of multiple businesses in the death care and distribution industries.

“Our desire is to grow and expand our franchise as large and successful as the grace and blessing of God gives us opportunity,” Daniel Carpenter says. “We believe in going the extra mile and doing what is right to ensure our customers are completely satisfied. We value honesty, integrity and a good work ethic. We are here to serve our customers and employees. We want to be known as a company and employer who cares.”

Office Pride of Roanoke-Daleville provides a full range of janitorial services to offices, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, medical facilities, schools, government buildings, churches, banks and other commercial properties. Services include sweeping and vacuuming, wet and dry mopping, secure trash removal, restroom sanitization, disinfection, dusting, blinds cleaning, restroom replenishment, glass cleaning and the cleaning of walls, ceilings and baseboards. Floor care, pressure washing and window cleaning services are also available.

The couple, like many Office Pride franchisees, were drawn to Office Pride because of the company’s values.

“Mary and my No. 1 desire in life is to glorify God and exalt Him in everything we do,” Daniel Carpenter says. “To enjoy His presence desiring to intimately know and abide with Him in our everyday lives.”

Daniel Carpenter enjoys spending his time off body surfing, writing and playing golf and tennis. The couple has eight children and 12 grandchildren. They are involved in various leadership roles in their church.
